Empowering Regional Sustainability: CRAMSA Joins the Antofagasta Industrial Association
“As members of AIA, we hope to intensify our contribution to shared value and local growth,” emphasized Peter Hatton, General Manager of CRAMSA.
As part of its collaboration strategy, CRAMSA has officially joined the Antofagasta Industrial Association (AIA), a key organization in productive development, sustainability, and well-being in the Antofagasta Region.
Peter Hatton, General Manager of CRAMSA, highlighted the importance of this alliance for the company: “Joining the AIA reinforces our commitment to sustainable and competitive development for the region. We have actively participated in events such as EXPONOR in its recent editions, and now, with this incorporation, we hope to intensify our contribution to shared value and local growth.”
The main contribution of CRAMSA will be to become a key player in the sustainability of the Antofagasta region. “We are convinced that working together with the AIA will allow us to continue strengthening our aspiration for a more sustainable region,” added Hatton.
The AIA is an industrial mining guild with more than 80 years of history working for regional development and the sustainability of the industrial sector, bringing together more than 300 companies, including mining companies and specialized service providers.
Since its foundation, it has been a key driver for regional development through initiatives such as the Business Development Center, which promotes entrepreneurship and productive linkages, and the Supplier Companies Qualification System (SICEP), a platform used by major mining companies to evaluate and select suppliers. This, in addition to numerous activities focused on identifying business opportunities and business development.
Fernando Cortez, General Manager of the AIA, welcomed CRAMSA, stressing that their incorporation “will allow them to participate and be aware of each of the organized initiatives, as well as to be aware of opportunities that allow them to increase their competitiveness and new business.”
With this alliance, CRAMSA will not only have the opportunity to exchange knowledge and best practices with other companies, but also strengthen its mission to promote sustainable solutions that benefit both the industry and the communities in the Antofagasta region.
