Together with the fishermen of AGREBUMAR, CRAMSA carried out this initiative that reaffirms the company’s commitment to protecting the coastal environment and promoting responsible practices for its care.
At the event, desalination and water reuse were highlighted as key tools to address the water and climate crisis, as well as the importance of the Water Positive movement for better water management.
“As members of AIA, we hope to intensify our contribution to shared value and local growth,” emphasized Peter Hatton, General Manager of CRAMSA.
The “Aguas Maritimas” Project by CRAMSA will help address the water supply needs in the communes of Antofagasta, Sierra Gorda, and Calama within the Antofagasta region. To achieve this, it plans to produce desalinated water for multipurpose use, sourced from an intake located in the Caleta Bolfin area.
