CRAMSA is present at the “Latin America Desalination Conference 2023”.
With this announcement, Peter Hatton concluded his presentation at the “Sustainable Mining Challenges” congress, where he highlighted the contribution of desalination to the development of a green industry.
Highlighting achievements, advancements, and the challenges faced by the desalination industry in the region, as well as fostering business relationships between operators and technology leaders, was the objective of the “Latin America Desalination Conference and Exhibition 2023”.
The event is organized annually by Vostock Capital, and its fifth edition took place in Santiago on March 28th and 29th, showcasing new desalination investment projects and innovations, aiming to consolidate the efforts of governments and companies to increase water supply throughout Latin America.
On this occasion, more than 250 senior executives from leading industry operators gathered, and Peter Hatton, CEO of CRAMSA, presented the details and advantages of the “Marine Waters” project, the largest multipurpose desalination project in Latin America.
“The desalination industry has made significant progress in Chile in recent years, and CRAMSA wants to contribute to this line of development with a large seawater desalination plant. This multipurpose project serves as a solution to supply industrial, human, and agricultural water demands in the midst of the country’s megadrought,” expressed Hatton.
During the event, prominent technology leaders and industry experts were also present, and more than 25 desalination projects from Chile, Peru, Mexico, and Argentina, both ongoing and planned, were presented.
